Chartered on May 19, 2024, Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter is the​ 157th Chapter in the Notable North Atlantic Region of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® proudly serving Orange County, NY. Twenty seven (27) women from diverse professional backgrounds rededicated their devotion for Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and serving their community.

Organized by Sonya D. Fiol-Grant and others, those twenty seven (27) members were: Monica Blackwell Merritt, JenneeÕœColeman, Stefanie Crews-Brown, Sarada Dorce', Tanya M. England, Sonya D. Fiol-Grant, Ada Freeman, Nyhisha T. Gibbs, Michelle E. Gooch, Anquinette Hayles, Marsha Henderson, Lernice Henry, Janeth Herrera, Yvonne A. Holder, Jamiylah Kimbrough, Alita McCoy, Kimberly Moore, Tammy E. Powell, Robin L. Ransom, Tasmanika Rich, Netikka D. Seward-Holloway, Yalitza Sepulveda, Alicia Smith, Debbie Thomas, Aristian Torregano, Dion Walker-Duncan, and Rasheena Wilson.

During the chartering process, Alpha Gamma Eta Omega (formerly known as The V.I.P. Pearls of Orange County, New York) was the F.I.R.S.T. interest group of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated to establish and capitalize a $25,000 Endowment Fund for H.S. senior scholars residing in Orange County, NY.

Since chartering, Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter has been a beacon of leadership and service in the community. The chapter's initiatives have focused on empowering youth, promoting education, and fostering health and wellness. Through various programs and partnerships, they have made significant strides in addressing community needs and providing opportunities for growth and development.​​​
